Inglewood


Located in central Los Angeles County, Inglewood is largely thought of as a gateway to several major commercial centers of the United States.  Located just minutes away from Los Angeles International Airport, Inglewood is also surrounded by major interstates such as the 405, 105, 110, and the 10. 

The city is served by the Inglewood Unified School District, which is made up of twenty-one public and four private schools.  Some portions of the city are served by the Los Angeles Unified School District. Inglewood is also home to the University of West Los Angeles Law School, with easy commutes to nearby Loyola Marymount and UCLA. 

The city of Inglewood had a population of 112,580, with approximately 36,805 households and 25,837 families residing within Inglewood city limits at the 2000 census.  Perhaps one of Inglewood's best features is its beautifully manicured landscapes and peaceful, adoring neighborhoods. 

It should be noted that the prices for real estate within Inglewood city limits is considerably lower than neighboring cities.  The average property value of a single-family home is $175,000.  Inglewood is largely composed of single-family homes.  In fact, approximately 86% of homes located in Inglewood are family households.  Currently, there are approximately 300 single-family homes and 550 condominiums.  There are also 489 units for senior and disabled citizens.
