San Dimas

Located in the eastern section of Los Angeles County, San Dimas had a population of 36,200 residents at the 2000 census.  Known for its gorgeous canyon views and rich vineyards, San Dimas has grown in recent years due to its prime location and growing community.

San Dimas offers a wide variety of parks and recreational centers for its residents to enjoy.  Perhaps the most visited, and thus well known, parks is the Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park, which is home to a 250 acre lake that is used for swimming, skiing, wind surfing, sailing, and fishing.  Raging Waters, a popular theme park that specializes in water rides, is located at the south end of the lake.  Bonelli Regional Park also offers boat and cabin rentals, horseback riding, hiking trails, and group rental picnic areas.

San Dimas' residents are served by the (nearby) Bonita Unified School District, which offers an abundance of schools for children to choose from.

San Dimas has seen a major boost in its growth and economy simply because of its prime location.  Only a half hour drive from both downtown Los Angeles and Long Beach, San Dimas has reaped many benefits from being in such close proximity to those major cities.
