Santa Fe Springs


Located on the eastern side of Los Angeles County, Santa Fe, meaning “Holy Faith,” had a population of 17,438 at the 2000 census.  Among those 17,438, there were approximately 4,834 households and 3,780 families who called Santa Fe Springs their home.

Santa Fe Springs is a one of a kind city that offers a variety of different services and amenities to its locals.  The community is home to over 3,000 businesses, which offers a nice mixture of commerce and residential life for its residents.  Approximately 90% of Santa Fe Springs is designated for industrial and commercial use, which provides a plethora of jobs for its citizens and at the same time boosting its economy.

Those that enjoy staying active will be delighted to know that Santa Fe Springs offers approximately 100 acres of space exclusively for parks and recreation.  Currently, there are 19 public park sites and several acres of green belts and parkways, all creating an enjoyable setting for its locals.

Santa Fe Springs residents are served by three nearby school districts: Los Nietos School District, Little Lake City School District, and Whittier Union High School District, all of which give parents and students plenty of options when it comes to choosing the right path for their future.
