Irvine
Irvine is the greatest master-planned community, and the largest of its kind, in the United States. Incorporated in 1971, it remains a model for other planned suburban communities and was designed the same way Paris and Washington D.C. were. Even though Irvine will never be the architectural and political equal of those two cities, Irvine draws thousands of people to its boundaries year in and year out. One interesting feature of Irvine is that is divided into many villages, which separate housing tracts with distinct appearances. Irvine offers every imaginable type of housing within its limits, including condos, apartments, townhomes, duplexes, and detached homes.
