Santa Ana

Santa Ana is the county seat and is the most populous county in all of Orange County.  It's located approximately 10 miles east of the Pacific Ocean, and resides on the Santa Ana River.  The Santa Ana Freeway (Interstate 5), the Costa Mesa Freeway (Interstate 55) and the Garden Grove Freeway (Interstate 22) all meet in Santa Ana.

A booming division of Santa Ana is located at City Park, an 18 acre, $125 million dollar project that city leaders expect to provide an urban substitute to suburban life in the heart of Orange County.  City Place holds 113 townhomes, 72 lofts, and retail amenities.  Easily arrange a walk through or attend an open house (homes will be available in April).

Santa Ana offers a variety of attractions within city limits.  The Centennial Regional Park consists of 87 acres and offers playgrounds, soccer and softball fields, as well as a ten-acre lake stocked with fish.   The Santa Ana River Bikeway stretches 29 miles (uninterrupted) and follows the Santa Ana River.

The Discovery Science Center introduces the physical sciences to youth, where kids enjoy the quake zone, dynamic earth, and a special kid station.  The Santa Ana zoo is a small, but very sparkling attraction for families that allows families to take a close up look at rare species. All in all, Santa Ana offers a whopping 39 parks within city limits.

The Santa Ana Unified School District serves Santa Ana residents, and Santa Ana College is a great place to enjoy a post-secondary education.  Shoppers enjoy Main Place and nearby South Coast Plaza for shopping, both centers filled with unique shops that are sure to fill everyone's needs.   The Santa Ana Farmers Market, held each Wednesday from 3-7 pm located in the Fiesta Parking Lot, is a great place to pick up some fresh fruit and vegetables from local farmers.
