Stanton

Formerly known as "The Crossroads to Vacation Land" because of its relative location to Anaheim, Stanton has grown out of Disney's shadows.   Stanton has experienced rapid growth in the last few years, which now occupies over three square miles of land with a population just over 38,000.  The average age of Stanton's citizens is 30.  The Stanton Redevelopment Agency has followed through on its objectives to make Stanton a better place for its residents to live by helping redevelop commercial and residential properties throughout the area.

"The Little Theme Park with Big Adventures," otherwise known as Adventure City, is a perfect place for youngsters to get up close and personal with animals at the petting zoo, catch a show, or hone their gaming skills at the arcade.  Hobby City, a 10 acre 'city' filled with collectibles and treasures for all ages, is the perfect place to take the family on a Saturday afternoon.  Stanton is also home to one of the largest tree trunks in all of Southern California.  This old tree trunk stands over 38 feet high!

Local shoppers love the convenience of being only a short car ride to Anaheim Plaza and Westminster Mall to knock out their shopping needs.  The summerfest and annual Business Expo is held towards the end of summer each year, a celebration that has a bit of a block party flavor to it.  The St. Polycarp Fiesta, held at the Catholic Church, offers unique cuisines and music from a variety of cultures, is held each October and is a family-friendly way to spend a wonderful autumn afternoon.

Stanton has the luxury of sitting within the grasp of four different school districts: Anaheim Union High School District, Garden Grove Unified School District, Magnolia School District, and Savanna School District.  

Real estate in the area can start as low as $52,000, but the average ‘family-friendly home' will be in the $700,000 range.  Offering peace and solitude, the Best Western Cypress Inn & Suites and the Howard Johnson Express Inn welcome visitors from all over the country and offer a perfect place for your guests to lay their head when they come for a visit.
