Westminster

Nicknamed the Tri-City because of the amalgamation of three cities, Westminster, Barber, and Midway, Westminster sits at the northwestern part of Orange County.  Westminster is landlocked and bordered by Seal Beach on the east, Huntington Beach on the south, and Santa Ana just a short trip to the east. 

Westminster Mall, a rather unique and contemporary shopping center, is located in the center of town on the corner of Goldenwest St. and Bolsa Avenue. It features a number of stores including J.C. Penny, Sears, and Robinsons-May.  Little Saigon caters to a unique audience, and offers clothes, food, and services including the Asian Gardens Mall and Cultural Court.

Kids enjoy the variety of parks Westminster has to offer, most notable Liberty Skateboard park, which is a magnificent spot for youngsters to begin honing their skateboarding skills.  Westminster also offers recreational leagues such as little league baseball, junior football, soccer, and junior basketball to keep the kids busy throughout the year. 

Theatre extremists will be happy to know that the Westminster Rose Theatre has recently opened for business.  This 419-seat theatre is designed to meet the needs of schools, businesses, and families, offering a variety of plays and musicals throughout the year.

Westminster School District, along with Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, and Ocean View School districts, have boundaries that overlap parts of the city of Westminster, which provides parents and children plenty of options when it comes to education.
