Open House Brentwood

Located at the base of the Santa Monica Mountains, Brentwood is one of the most well known cities in Los Angeles County. Bordered by Santa Monica, Bel Air, and Beverly Hills, Brentwood is one of the most expensive places to live in Southern California.
Its close proximity to downtown Los Angeles and Hollywood make it home to several high rolling movie icons such as governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, Justin Timberlake, Jim Carrey, Britney Spears, and Steven Seagal. Because of its location, mild climate, and unique housing, Brentwood has become a prime spot to live in as of late.
Brentwood is composed of several neighborhoods, which helps with lot spacing and general privacy for residents. Brentwood’s location (next to the 405) makes it easy for commuters to get to nearby cities. There are also several modes of public transportation, including nearby Santa Monica’s Big Blue Bus, which serves both cities and does a good job of transporting locals to and around nearby cities and attractions.
The 2000 census listed Brentwood as a population of 42,000 residents. Among those, there were approximately 22,000 housing units. Real estate is rather expensive, as you might imagine, in Brentwood. Investors will have a tough time finding a home for less than $750,000.
Brentwood offers second-to-none education for its residents. The Brentwood Science Magnet School is one of the most well known schools in the area. There are several nearby schools for students to choose from, both public and private.
