Just north of downtown Los Angeles, Burbank is located in the eastern region of the San Fernando Valley and has a population of just over 106,000 residents. Primarily referred to as an upper-middle class community, Burbank is predominately billed as the “Media Capital of the World.” Several entertainment and media companies are headquartered within Burbank city limits. The schools consistently score above national and state averages and have one of the best reputations in the state. Woodbury University, which specializes in beauty and make up, is also located within Burbank city limits.
