Open House Covina

Located approximately 20 miles east of downtown Los Angeles and in the heart of the San Gabriel Mountains, Covina has blossomed into a small city that has developed the nickname "A Mile Square and All There." Incorporated in August of 1901, Covina is now home to approximately 48,000 residents.
Covina is well known for its two museums, which are both operated by the Covina Valley Historical Society. The Historic Heritage House is located on the west side of Covina Park. The Covina Firehouse/Jail Museum was the first civic building in Covina.
The Vintage Years, which symbolizes Covina before 1950, operates as a photographic exhibit which is located at Covina City Hall. The exhibit contains 130 photographs that illustrate the history of Covina from 1846 to 1950. The exhibit is open to the public during city hall's regular business hours, and also hosts tours for schools and the community.
Covina is served by three separate school districts: Covina-Valley Unified School District, Charter Oak Unified School District, and the Azusa Unified School District. There are also several nearby private schools for residents to choose from, as well as a few adult-learning schools.
As is the case with the majority of cities located within Los Angeles County, Covina’s real estate market is doing very well for itself. Depending on how large a home residents are looking for, prices can very from the $300,000 range to the lower millions in terms of housing.
