Open House Gardena

Located in the central region of Los Angeles County, Gardena has transformed into a beautiful place to live and raise a family.  It has been referred to as the “All America City” because of its low crime rates, scenic properties, and well maintained buildings and housing units.  Needless to say, there is a certain sense of pride that residents of Gardena wear on their sleeves.

Gardena is just 15 minutes from downtown Los Angeles and Los Angeles International Airport.  The city also offers easy access to just about every major freeway in Los Angeles, including the 405, 105, 710, and the 110.  The Gardena Municipal Bus Line provides residents with a convenient way to commute.  The line links with regional bus transportation, as well as Metrolink and Amtrak trains.  

This full service city that covers approximately 6 square miles now has a population just under 60,000 residents.  Its family-friendly neighborhoods are attractive to just about everyone, which is almost certainly why Gardena has grown into such a diverse melting pot.   

There are housing options for everyone, including 20,000 residential units, as well as 283 single-family units located within the brand new gated communities that are set to open in the year 2008.  Approximately one half of the residential units currently serving residents are single-family units that offer a wide array of designs.  Most of the residential neighborhoods are composed of large yards with lush landscaping.

Gardena is also very well known for its prestigious school system.  The district has a whopping 13 public schools, 6 private institutions, and three colleges all located within this magnificent city.
