Open House Hidden Hills

Nestled in the foothills of the San Fernando Valley, Hidden Hills is a city with a population of just over 2,000 residents in Los Angeles County.  The city is a gated development, and is located in the westernmost part of the San Fernando Valley.

Hidden Hills was founded by A.E. Hanson in the early 1950s.  Considered a General Law City, Hidden Hills was incorporated in October of 1961, and is approximately two square miles in area.  There are approximately 648 homes within Hidden Hills’ city limits, and the city is home to one elementary school.  

As is the case with most home prices in Southern California, Hidden Hills’ real estate market has skyrocketed in recent years.  In 1957, a three or four bedroom house with one to five acres could be found between the prices of $27,500 and $47,500.  Now, real estate investors are lucky to find a home like that for under $1 million.

With its mild climate and beautiful, cozy homes and neighborhoods, it’s no wonder that Hidden Hills has become a desired destination for Hollywood celebrities.  It has been reported that celebs such as Lisa Marie Presley, Denise Richards, Marvin Gaye, Bing Crosby, and Ozzy Osbourne have once called Hidden Hills their home.
