Open House Lancaster


Located seventy miles north of downtown Los Angeles, Lancaster is home to approximately 144,000 residents, making it the eighth largest city in Los Angeles County.  Lancaster is nestled within the foothills of Southern California’s Antelope Valley, with the San Gabriel Mountains to its south.

Lancaster offers its residents over 500 acres of preserved parkland.  These stunning, well-manicured public parks are ideal for residents to exercise, relax, and picnic.  Several parks throughout the city offer volleyball and basketball courts, softball fields, swimming pools, and walking trails.  The parks are a safe place for families and people of all ages.  The parks are open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily. 

Lancaster was recently nominated as being the “Most Business-Friendly city in Los Angeles County” by the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation.  Lancaster is one of many cities in Los Angeles County who have reaped the benefits of a growing market in Southern California.  In fact, Lancaster is the fastest growing city in all of Los Angeles County with a 4.5% increase in population in the last few years.

Lancaster is served by the Lancaster Unified School District, Eastside Union School District, and Westside Union School District.  The city offers a wide variety of public and private schools for students to choose from.  Lancaster also serves as home to Antelope Valley College and offers a satellite campus for California State University, Bakersfield. 

With a growing population and economy, distinguished schools, scenic views, and an up and coming housing market, its no wonder the city of Lancaster has experienced such rapid growth in the last decade.
