Open House Malibu

Located in the northwestern part of Los Angeles County, Malibu is one of the most well known beach cities in Southern California. This 27-mile strip of Pacific coastline is home to a number of Hollywood celebrities, and its breathtaking views, sandy beaches, and gorgeous ocean water explain why the city is filled with stars.
The Pacific Coast Highway runs right through the city of Malibu, which makes travel convenient for its residents. The vast majority of Malibu residents live within a few hundred yards of the highway. Topanga Canyon resides to the east of Malibu, while the Santa Monica Mountains are to the north. Ventura County is located to the west of Malibu.
There are approximately 13,000 residents and 5,137 households within the city of Malibu. There are several city parks that are very welcoming to residents, including Leo Carrillo State Park, Malibu Creek State Park, Solstice Canyon Park, and the Santa Monica Mountains Park, all of which offer beautiful views of the ocean, valleys, canyons, and mountains.
Malibu residents have the luxury of picking from three public elementary/middle schools, and two high schools. Pepperdine University is also located in Malibu. The city is also famous for its sky-high real estate prices, and it's pretty simple to understand why. Most houses in Malibu are in the several million dollar range, but offer spectacular views, a Mediterranean climate, and comforting beaches.
