Beaumont
The city of Beaumont may well be one of the final frontiers in “has it all” real estate. The unmistakable beauty of the area gives the city its name, which means “beautiful mountain” in French. During the early 1850s many surveying parties passed through the vicinity of present-day Beaumont in search of a pass that would connect the east to the Pacific Ocean. The San Gorgonio Pass was discovered in 1853 by one such surveying expedition. The San Gorgonio Mountain Pass was a stopping off point for early travelers going to and from Los Angeles and Palm Springs. Today, it has a population of 30,000 and was California's fastest growing city in 2006 with a growth rate of 21%.
Beaumont is near many interesting attractions. It is 10 miles from Oak Glen apple country with its unique events, and also to Casino Morongo. Diamond Valley Reservoir provides wonderful fishing within 16 miles. The very popular California Speedway is only 30 miles away while other California attractions such as Disneyland and Knott's are only about an hour away. Its open spaces, affordable land and housing, and easy access to other locations, makes this an excellent commercial opportunity.
With scenic mountains and canyons, affordable property and easy access to all of California, it is no wonder this area is experiencing growth.
