Palm Springs

On the western edge of the Coachella Valley in Riverside County, Palm Springs is a city with first class amenities and opportunities. It has long been recognized as a resort city and loved for its beauty. The majestic Mt. San Jacinto rises above the city like a beacon creating an impressive scene. The area boasts an average 350 sunny days a year to enjoy the best in golf, spas, dining and shopping.

Palm Springs has many parks and recreational facilities which include a municipal golf course, tennis courts, a public, Olympic sized swimming pool, a dog park and a baseball stadium. Many enjoy the hiking trails, bike routes, and horseback riding. The local water park is appreciated year round. There are many museums and cultural centers that add to the wonderful and diverse opportunities in the area. One of the most unique features is the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway which takes riders from the desert floor to the top of Mt. San Jacinto.

The area was once a playground to the stars and it maintains its chic charm. There are still many celebrity sightings today, but the city's economy centers on tourism, real estate, health care, shopping and gambling. With predictable weather, it is a city of well-hosted, numerous festivals, conventions and international events. While there is plenty of high end shopping, spas and activities, Palm Springs is actually a very small, close knit and involved community.
