Rancho Mirage

Rancho Mirage is a city renowned for stellar weather, a prime location, beautiful scenery, and abundant opportunities for employment and recreation. Strategically located 110 miles from both Los Angeles and San Diego, it has easy access to  I-10 or Highway 111.  It is a city dedicated to its citizens through community programs, cultural opportunities as well as historic preservation.

Rancho Mirage is a peaceful community of about 11,000 people with an average per capita income of $45,000. The winter brings many part time residents, doubling the population. More than 50% of the residents are over 45, and less than 20% of the population is under 18. There are six different types of neighborhoods including 12 private golf and tennis clubs, and four equestrian neighborhoods. There are 47 planned residential communities. There are six gated, private estate-sized communities that have no common amenities. 15 of the neighborhoods are non-gated public communities and there are six mobile home parks. Within the city limits, there are also two large private estates that include private golf courses.

Many are drawn to Rancho Mirage for the economic potential. Retail sales in the area are exceptionally strong. There is a strong tourism industry in the area. Businesses looking to relocate to the area find that the City of Rancho Mirage has planning tools and the physical infrastructure in place to accommodate new development which includes a streamlined planning and entitlement process, economic development incentives, and specific plans that aid development along Highway 111.
